Mr. Johnnie Lynn, 89, of Jefferson, SC went to be with his Lord on Sunday, June 10, 2018 while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Johnnie Lynn was born on August 25, 1928 in Jefferson, South Carolina. He later met and united in marriage to Betty Robertson Lynn. He was a member of Fork Creek United Methodist Church and retired from DuPont. Because of his love for deer hunting, he was a founding member of the Sycamore Hunt Club. Besides deer hunting, he loved to farm, raise cows and ride to Honey's Gas Station to visit with the guys. Mr. Lynn was predeceased by four brothers, Jimmy Lynn, Amos Horton, Michael Lynn and J.T. Rollings and one sister Joe Horton Hilton. Those left to celebrate and remember his life include his loving wife of 67 years, Betty Lynn of Jefferson, SC; sons, Mike Lynn (Lynn) of Sumter, SC, Scott Lynn (Trina) of Marshville, NC and Richard Lynn of Pageland, SC; daughters, Pat Knight (James) of Jefferson, SC and Deborah Price (Dennis) of Alpharetta, GA; brother, Jackie Lynn of Greenville, SC; thirteen grandchildren, Melissa Smith (Keith Springs), Kandi Williams (Kevin), Shawn Mills (Courtney), Kevin Lynn (Maree), Laurie Bauer (Jason), Brian Lynn (Lisa), Carmen Price, Darrell Price, Meredith Kosloski (Josh), Paige Plyler, Chelsey Plyler, Kayla Valesquez (Victor) and John Lynn; twenty two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Fork Creek United Methodist Church with Pastor Brian Lynn officiating. Burial will follow at Fork Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Fork Creek United Methodist Church in Jefferson, SC.
