Mrs. Joyce E. Breece Helms, 80, of Jefferson, SC passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at her home under the loving care of Hospice and surrounded by her loving family. Joyce was born on April 4, 1942 in Jefferson, SC to the late Reece Oliver and Katherine Kirkley Oliver. Joyce was a member of Fork Creek United Methodist Church. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to read and go shopping. Joyce loved gardening, especially working in her flowers. She enjoyed walking and reading in her spare time. Joyce is predeceased by her son, Tony "Doug" Boone; daughter, Devonne Boone; brothers, Jimmy Oliver, Claude "Buddy" Oliver, Bobby Oliver, Billy Oliver, Marshall Oliver and sisters, Sara Oliver Deese and Thelma "Teeny" Oliver Graves. Joyce is survived by her husband of ten years, Johnny F. Helms of Jefferson, SC; daughter, Dawn Denise Engle (Paul) of Chicago, IL; sons, David Breece of California, Scott Breece (Sherry) of Lennon, MI and Randall Breece (Gayle) of Fenton, MI; sister, Mary "Patsy" Elzey (Horace) of Jefferson, SC; brother, Jerry Oliver (Diane) of Jefferson, SC; sister-in-law, Brenda Oliver of Jefferson, SC; grandchildren, Kathi Haddix (Rick), Justin Boone, Hannah Boone, Rachel Twaro (Chad), Leah Engle, Paul Engle, Joshua Engle, Allen Breece, Charles Breece, Andrew Breece, Matthew Breece, Autumn Breece, Chris Tracy, Kim Tracy, Bryon Tracy and Cullen Breece; and six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Fork Creek United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 7, 2022 at Fork Creek United Methodist Church in Jefferson, SC with Pastor David Christopher officiating.
