Ms. Joyce Elaine Sikes, 74, of Marshville, NC passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 in Marshville, NC while surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Joyce Sikes was born on December 3, 1945 in Mt. Croghan, South Carolina to the late Claud Henry Sikes and Leona Hilton Sikes. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Sikes. Ms. Sikes enjoyed reading her bible and listening to gospel music. She enjoyed playing the guitar and the outdoors, especially swinging. She loved to spend time with her dogs. Ms. Sikes is survived by her sister, Jean Jenkins of Marshville, NC; nephews, Chris Jenkins, and Edward Sikes; niece, Doris Deese; great nephews, Nathan Jenkins and Adam Jenkins and great niece, Nadia Jenkins. There will be a Celebration of Life Graveside Service on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Center Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Mt. Croghan, SC with Pastor Caroll Anthony officiating. Due to the government-mandated, COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that you practice social distancing at all times. Face coverings are optional for the Graveside Service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Center Grove Baptist Church, 22971 Hwy 9, Mt. Croghan, SC 29727.
