Mrs. Judy Lou Ann Moree, 63, of Pageland, SC passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in Shelby, NC while surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Moree was born on January 18, 1960 in Shelby, NC to the late Ernest and Elizabeth "Libby" Pearson Tessneer. She later met and united in marriage to Alvin Edward Moree. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Mrs. Moree loved cooking for her family and decorating her home. She loved to play with her dogs. She is predeceased by her son, Jonathan Derick "John Boy" Moree. Mrs. Moree is survived by her husband, Alvin Edward Moree of Pageland, SC; her son, Jackie Dwayne Smith of Shelby, NC; brothers, Tommy Tessneer , Bobby Tessneer and Billy Tessneer all of Shelby, NC; sisters, Debbie Eaker (Ty) and Renee Phillips (Billy Thomas) both of Shelby, NC; grandchildren, Jackie Dean Smith, Chase Derick Smith, Samuel Tyler Shane Blanton and Christin Hamrick; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Baumgartner Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland with Mr. Tony Funderburk officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
