Mr. Kenneth Bangle Wade, 74, of Pageland, SC passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 in Monroe, NC. Mr. Kenneth B. Wade was born June 11, 1948 in Kannapolis, NC to the late Clifford Wade and Edna Smith Wade. Mr. Wade grew up in Kannapolis, NC and graduated from AL Brown High School. After graduation, he joined the US Navy and served our country as a sailor during the Vietnam War. After completing his military service, Mr. Wade was employed with the Sun Drop Bottling Company as a truck driver for many years. He later was employed with the Phillips Morris Tobacco Company until his retirement. Mr. Wade led a very busy and enjoyable life. He was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders and he also volunteered with the Patriot Guard. Mr. Wade was a DJ and member of several bands over the years, and played the bass guitar. He was also an ordained Minister of Marriage. Mr. Wade was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Wade. Mr. Wade is survived by his wife, Sharon N. Wade of Pageland, SC; daughters, Karen R. Smith of Hartsville, SC, Kimberly W. Lumsden of China Grove, NC, Lisa M. Clawson of Salisbury, NC and Rhonda L. Barrett of Midland, NC; step-daughters, Dana H. Hutson and Charlotte H. Hutson (Andy) both of Sumter, SC and grandchildren, Christopher Furr, Brittany Beachum, Mike Furr, Bobby Burris, Camron Burris, Courtney Lumsden and Megan Lumsden.
