Mr. Kenny Eugene Oliver, 63, of Jefferson, SC passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at his home. Mr. Kenny Oliver was born on April 20, 1957 in Monterey, CA, to the late Claude Evans Oliver and Carolyn Pruitt Oliver. Mr. Oliver was a business leader in the Jefferson Community, who was the owner and operator of Oliver's Body Shop in Jefferson for over 40 years. He was a very dedicated and hardworking man. He was a member of Macedonia Masonic Lodge #239. Mr. Oliver was a devoted father and had many friends. Kenny was a quiet person, who was very lovable and likeable. Kenny would do a lot for people behind the scenes that nobody ever knew. He was an avid NASCAR and Dirt Track Racing fan, who also enjoyed going camping. Mr. Oliver is survived by his long-time companion, Angie Miles of Jefferson, SC; Dylan's aunt, Jeanne Oliver of Jefferson, SC; son, Dylan Hart Knoles of Jefferson, SC; sisters, Cynthia O. Smith (Eddie) of Jefferson, SC and Kim O. Giocondo (Leo) of Charlotte, NC and many nieces and nephews. Anyone can come by the funeral home to pay their respects and sign the register book on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. There will be a Celebration of Life Graveside Service held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Fork Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery in Jefferson, SC with Pastor David Christopher officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Due to the government-mandated, COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that you practice social distancing at all times and bring a mask with you to wear during the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fork Creek United Methodist Church, C/O Linda Plyler, 404 JL Love Rd., Jefferson, SC 29718.
