Mr. Kevin Scott Jordan, 61, of Pageland, SC passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020 in Monroe, NC surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Kevin Scott Jordan was born on July 9, 1958 in Monroe, North Carolina to Ems Thomas Jordan and Lue Nell Rollings Jordan. He was preceded in death by his father, Ems Thomas Jordan; maternal grandparents, Joseph Monroe Rollings and Lena Adcock Rollings; his paternal grandparents, Lester Jordan and Nezzie Jordan, and numerous aunts and uncles. Mr. Jordan was a graduate of East Mecklenburg High School. He received his Bachelor of Accounting degree at Wingate College. He was the owner and operator of Jordan's Accounting Income Tax Service Inc. in Pageland. Scott was a member of First Baptist Church of Pageland, where he served as a deacon for several terms and was the church treasurer. He was a member of the Joyful Noise Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church of Pageland. In his spare time, Scott liked to travel and ride motorcycles. He loved drag racing and was a car enthusiast. Mr. Jordan is survived by his beloved wife, Gwen Jordan of 34 and half years, of Pageland, SC; his mother, Lue Nell Jordan of Pageland, SC, and by his fur baby, Sophie. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Pageland, 203 W. Pigg Street, Pageland, SC 29728 with Dr. Joel Dale presiding. Burial will follow at First Baptist Church of Pageland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 5, 2020 following the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
