Lee Eric Usher, 67, of Pageland, SC passed away peacefully on January 4, 2024 in Monroe, North Carolina. He was born on June 4, 1956 in Lancaster, South Carolina to the late Alvin M. Usher, Sr. and Doris McKeown Usher.

Lee is survived by his cherished wife of 19 years, Kathy "Sissy" Arrington Usher of Pageland, South Carolina. Together, they built a life full of love and mutual respect. His legacy continues through his son, Eric Usher (Kia) of Columbia, South Carolina, and his daughter, Erica Usher Gaskins of Chesterfield, South Carolina. His brother, David Brian Usher (Tammy) of Jefferson, South Carolina, and son-in-law, Tony Albright of Pageland, South Carolina, also survive him. Lee was a proud grandfather to Jayden Gaskins, Jerica Gaskins, Jayson Gaskins, Tre Jackson, Aaron Albright, and Jace Albright, who will miss his guidance and humor. He was predeceased by his brothers, John Richard Usher and Alvin "Al" Moore Usher, Jr., and his stepdaughter, Toya Albright.

Lee's professional life was as diverse as it was fruitful. He spent many years as a dedicated delivery driver for Coke and later shared his expertise in the insurance industry. His commitment to service in his younger days was further exemplified by his involvement as a Mason and Shriner.

Those who knew Lee will remember him for his love of dance and his ability to light up a room with his jokes and infectious laughter. An avid Gamecock football fan, he enjoyed the thrill of the game and the camaraderie of fellow supporters. Lee's heart of gold was evident to all, especially when he was cooking on the grill or lounging around the pool, where he was happiest surrounded by family and friends.

A man of many interests, Lee had a passion for music. His love for numbers kept his mind sharp, and his sarcastic wit ensured that conversations were never dull. Lee's handy nature meant that he was always ready to lend a helping hand.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Baumgartner Funeral Home. There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Baumgartner Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Neisler officiating.
