Mr. Leroy Jordan, Jr., 83, of Pageland, SC passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at his home. Mr. Jordan was born on April 12, 1940 in Pageland, SC to the late Roy Jordan, Sr. and Elizabeth Mangum Cole. He was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church and served in the US Navy. Because of his love for the Lord, he served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years and loved to sing in church. He worked as a hunting guide at Moree's Hunting Preserve. Besides being a hunting guide, he loved fishing, football and his dogs. He never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his son, Samuel Jordan; brother, Sam Jordan and grandsons, Michael Scott Craig and Nick Jordan. Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife, Joyce Moree Jordan of Pageland, SC; son, Donald Jordan, Sr.; daughter, Amanda Jordan Johnson (Buck Stevens) of Wingate, NC; grandchildren, Donald Jordan Jr. (Teresa), John Jordan and Katelynn Jordan (Darren Torres) and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Smyrna Baptist Church. There will be a Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Smyrna Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Rivers officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smyrna Baptist Church, 841 Smyrna Church Road, Pageland, SC 29728.
