Mrs. Lois Byrd Hunter passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2009, in the presence of her family. She is the daughter of the late John Thomas and Mildred Morrell Byrd. Mrs. Hunter is predeceased by her Husband, Grady C. Hunter and son, Benny Dale Hunter. Mrs. Hunter is survived by her Son, William "Tommy" Hunter (Debbi), Pageland, SC, Daughter, Alice "Mitzie" Hunter, Pageland, SC, Sister, Dora Gainey (Olden), Society Hill, SC, Grandson, William "Wil" Hunter, Pageland, SC, Granddaughter, Abigail "Abby" Hunter, Pageland, SC, Special Friend & Mother of Abigail, Cristy Thurman, Pageland, SC, Special Friend, Barbara Adams, Pageland, SC, Step Grandchildren, Melanie Tarte, Spring Dale, AK, Tiffany Erwin, Lake View, SC, Brooks Tarte, Monroe, NC, Step Great Grandchildren, Brooklyn Tarte, Lake View, SC and Several Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and other loved ones. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at 4:00 PM at Union Hill Baptist Church.
