Mrs. Lorraine Vera Zaffino, 101, of Marshville, NC went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 25, 2019 in Monroe, NC. Mrs. Lorraine Vera Zaffino was born on November 26, 1917 in Queens, New York to the late Howard Percival Towne and Therese F. Loeschman. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bruno Zaffino; daughters, Doreen Gutierrez and Diana Corigliano; brothers, Howard C. Towne, Elsworth F. Towne; sisters, Gladys A. Lewis, Murial E. "Peggy" Geffelder and grandson, Christopher Gutierrez. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Zaffino is survived by her granddaughters, Lorraine Corigliano and husband, Kenneth Graham of Mt. Croghan, SC, Robin Henley and husband, Matthew of Charlotte, NC and Tracy Medlin and husband, Jason of Monroe, NC; grandsons, Raul Gutierrez and wife, Jenn of New York, New York and Eddie Gutierrez and wife, Eva of Prague, Czech Republic; great grandchildren, Johnathan Christopher "J.C." Bruce and wife, Michelle of Tennessee, Mathew Bruce of Atlanta, GA, Breyana Jordan and husband, Justin of Jefferson, SC, Justin Hicks and fiance, Kaitlin Cauthen of Monroe, NC, Savannah Leigh Hicks and fiance, Jacob Homola of Monroe, NC, Mia Medlin of Monroe, NC, Brooke Tolbert and husband, T.J. of Charlotte, NC, Sianne Henley of Charlotte, NC, Gabriel Gutierrez of Brooklyn, New York, Raul Andres Gutierrez of Brooklyn, New York and Edward Christopher Gutierrez of Prague, Czech Republic; great great grandchildren, MaHailey Jordan, MaHarleigh Jordan, MaKenlee Jordan all of Jefferson, SC, step-great great grandson, Harley Jordan and nephews, Raymond Menken of California and Jeffrey Menken.
