Obituary

Mrs. Lucille Terry, 89, of Pageland, SC passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020 at her home while surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice. Mrs. Lucille Terry was born on February 21, 1931 in Jefferson, SC to the late Otis James Catoe and Lucy Lynn Catoe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Terry; brothers, Benny Catoe, Lynn Catoe, Bill Catoe, Bruce Catoe, Gerald Catoe, and Willis Catoe, and sister, Bonnie Mills. Mrs. Terry grew up on a cotton farm in Jefferson, SC. She was known for caring and loving children. She never could say, "no" to anyone. Mrs. Terry was known as the "Meatball Lady" because she could roll meatballs perfectly. Because of her love for gardening and her green thumb, she could grow any plant. Mrs. Terry is survived by her daughter, Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Terry of Pageland, SC; her sister, Peggy Quillen of Snow Hill, MD; numerous nieces and nephews, and her grand-puppy, Pepper. Anyone can come by the funeral home and pay their respects and sign the register book on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. There will be a Celebration of Life Graveside Service on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland in Pageland, SC with Pastor Jonathon Cox officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland. Due to the government-mandated, COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that you practice social distancing at all times. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Regency Southern Care Hospice, C/O Grace Hospice Foundation, 205 E.
