Ms. Margaret Smith, 90, of Pageland, SC went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at her residence. Ms. Margaret Smith was born on October 6, 1929 in Pageland, SC to the late Joe Smith and Mattie Lee Smith. She was a former school teacher at North Mecklenburg High School in Huntersville, NC. She loved Boston Terriers and had many throughout her life time. Ms. Margaret loved to read especially mysteries and to sew in her younger days. She is preceded in death by her brother and sisters, Nell Smith Eubanks, Elizabeth Smith Hunter, Byron Smith, George Smith and Ralph Smith. Ms. Smith is survived by her loving nieces & nephews, Martha Eubanks of Charlotte, NC, Anne (Marlowe) Funderburk of Pageland, SC, Pattie (Donnie) Pigg of Pageland, SC, Byron (Brenda) Smith of Pageland, SC, Mary (James) Miller of Florence, SC, Cebern (Lori) Smith of Owasha, OK, Rob (Wanda) Smith of Monroe, NC, Richard (Elaine) Duncan of Union, SC and Buck Duncan of Florence, SC and special fur baby companion for many years, Bess. The family will hold a Private Service at a later date. Special thanks to her caregiver and friend, Pam Mitchell, Jerry and Jill Sullivan and Stacy and Terri Eubanks for looking out for Aunt Margaret since coming back to Pageland.
