Margie Pigg Broome, 85, of Pageland, SC went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2012. Ms. Broome is the daughter of the late Arley and Mayme Watts Pigg. She is predeceased by her husband, Pierce Broome since November 10, 1979 and her son, Barry Broome. She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Smith (Byron) of Pageland, SC, Beverlyn Mehaffey (Richard) of Sylva, NC, brother, Elton Pigg of Pageland, SC, sister, Beverly Barnes of Rocky Mount, NC, grandchildren, Stacey Stevens, Rhett Graves, Meredith Dolan, Ragan Graves, Byron Smith and Ten great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, August 2, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Pageland with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the funeral in the First Baptist Church of Pageland Fellowship Hall.
