Mrs. Mary Estelle Arant, 85, of Pageland, South Carolina passed away on November 17, 2017 while surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Mary Estelle Arant was born on June 7, 1932 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late Edd Blake Price and Eula Riggins Price. She later met and united in marriage for 61 years with the late Charles Russell Arant Sr. Estelle loved cooking and canning, she would cook for many different events she was a very social butterfly. She also really enjoyed talking on the phone with family and friends. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church in Marshville. Estelle loved her family very much. In addition to her parents and husband, Estelle is preceded in death by a sister, Emma Roach and a brother, James Price. Those left to celebrate and remember her life include her loving sons, Russell Arant (Sherry) and Roger Arant (Sandra) both of Pageland, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Kristen Arant, , Kerri Rowell (Rocky), Adam Arant (Tiffany), Samantha Sessions (James), Steven Arant (Lindsey)and Amelia Arant, also four great-grandchildren; Grant Rowell, Claire Rowell, Isabella Sessions, and Hanna Arant. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Philadelphia Baptist Church with Pastor Caroll Anthony and Pastor Mack Mullis officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Baumgartner Funeral Home, 708 West McGregor Street, Pageland, South Carolina 29728. In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church, c/o Building Fund, 5709 Philadelphia Church Road, Marshville, NC 28103 or Hospice of One's Choice.
