Mary Arant, 65, of Pageland, SC passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025 in Lancaster, South Carolina. She was born on January 5, 1960 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late William Bundy Arant and Mary Rosalyn Gregory Arant.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her devoted sister, Carolyn Teal of Pageland, South Carolina; her beloved niece, Christina Myers of West Virginia; her caring nephew, Clayton Teal of North Carolina; and her adored great-nephews, Connor A. Myers and Trenton R. Myers both of West Virginia.

A lifelong resident of the Carolinas, Mary's presence was a constant source of warmth and comfort to those around her. Her love for movies was well-known, as she could often be found engrossed in the latest film, sharing her reviews and recommendations with anyone who would listen. Mary's passion for reading magazines was equally evident, as she kept up with current events and trends, always ready to engage in lively discussions.

Mary's favorite culinary delights were the simple yet satisfying flavors of KFC and applesauce, which she enjoyed with the same enthusiasm she brought to every aspect of her life. Music was another source of happiness for Mary, and her eclectic taste provided the soundtrack to many family gatherings and quiet afternoons at home.

An avid walker, Mary enjoyed her strolls to the local Food Lion, where she greeted neighbors and friends with her infectious smile and a friendly wave. These walks were not just a form of exercise for Mary but a cherished routine that connected her to the community she loved.

There will be a Celebration of Life Funeral Service on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Baumgartner Funeral Home, Pageland, SC with Pastor Mack Mullis officiating. Burial will be private.
