Ms. Mary Jane Hartis Laney, 74, of Pageland, SC passed away under the loving care of her family and Hospice of Chesterfield County. Ms. Laney is the daughter of the late Walter R. and Marie McClain Hartis. Ms. Laney is also predeceased by her son, Milton Gary Laney. She is survived by her son, William Michael Laney (Bobbie) of Pageland, SC, daughters, Irene Chapple (Willie) of Pageland, SC, Barbara Langley (George) of Pageland, SC, and Wanda Werth (Les) of Charlotte, NC, sisters, Helen Rogers of Great Falls, SC, Diane Deese (Gent) of Pageland, SC, Carolyn Steen (Charles) of Great Falls, SC, and Jeanette Wright (Richard) of Great Falls, SC, Twelve Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Grandchildren. The family will be holding A Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 2PM on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at New Harvest Freewill Baptist Church in Tradesville, SC. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 PM Friday, October 19, 2012 at Mary Laney's Residence, 72 Tower Lane, Pageland, SC.
