Mary Boone Page, age 82, of Pageland, South Carolina, passed away on May 13, 2026. She was born on April 20, 1944, in Lancaster, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late William James Boone and Dovie Margie Robinson Boone.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Marvin, and by her beloved husband, Henry Clifford Page. Mary is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Darlene Shehane and Neal Kirkley of Kershaw, South Carolina, Lynn Page Medlin and her husband Larry Medlin of Lancaster, South Carolina, and Donna Page Parker and her husband Jessie of Pageland, South Carolina. She is also survived by her siblings, Robert Boone and his wife Peggy of Heath Springs, South Carolina, Donnie Boone and his wife Harriett of Blackstock, South Carolina, Sue Snipes and her husband Gene of Lancaster, and Kay Boone and her husband Wes of Waxhaw, North Carolina. Her family was a source of great joy to her, and she treasured every gathering, conversation, and shared memory.
She also leaves behind a loving legacy through her grandchildren, Carla Norris, Crystal Clark, James Sessions and his wife Samantha, Anna Couick and her husband Paul, Jimmy Sessions, Justin Bryant, Kasey Hill, Robert Miles, Anna Bowers, Jasmine Bowers, and Patricia Saturdy and her husband Gavin, Cecilia Kennedy and her husband Mason and Paul Couick and his wife Taylor. Mary was blessed with fourteen great-grandchildren, each of whom brought light and happiness to her life. She also held a special place in her heart for her dear friend and companion, Bobby Barrington of Cheraw, South Carolina, whose friendship meant so much to her.
Mary was known by those who loved her as a kind, friendly, and spirited woman. She had a joyful nature and a warm presence that made others feel welcome and cared for. She was an avid dancer and found happiness in music. One of her favorite songs was "Last Date" by Floyd Cramer. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends, and she cherished those moments they shared together. Going out to eat was one of her favorite pastimes, especially enjoyed Peking Wok with her friend Bobby. She also loved camping in the mountains, where she could enjoy the beauty of nature and the peace of the outdoors.
The family would like to thank all of her friends and family for all the love and kindness they showed over the years - Mary loved you all.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00PM at Baumgartner Funeral Home.
There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Baumgartner Funeral Home with Pastor Catlin Rollings officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
