Mr. Michael Ray Gregory, 61, of Jefferson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. He was born in Union, SC on March 22, 1960 to the late Hazel Smith and Joe Douglas Gregory, and was a loving Daddy, Papa, and brother. He fought his battle with cancer with courage and a smile, even on the hard days. Mr. Gregory was a graduate of Union High School, and a member of Providence Baptist Church. He was part of the Union County Dixie Youth for many years, coaching and umpiring both softball and baseball. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Andrea Gregory Eubanks of Jefferson; son, Michael Lance Gregory and fianc Tiffany Camp of Inman; sister, Donna Burris and husband Scottie of Union; brothers, Joey Gregory and wife Sara Beth, Paul Gregory and wife Wendy, and Randy Gregory, all of Union; grandchildren, Madison Gregory, Andrew Gregory, Elizabeth Gregory, Lydia Smith, Karley Eubanks, Abby Eubanks, Piper Camp, and Auburn Camp; and a special friend, Connie Sinclair of Union. Mr. Gregory was predeceased by parents, Joe Douglas and Hazel Gregory, and Daisy and Fletcher "Rat" Smith; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Gregory; and son-in-law, Marty Eubanks. Visitation will be held from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Fairforest Baptist Church in Union, SC. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, March 21, 2022 at Providence Baptist Church in Pageland, SC, with family receiving friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00PM prior to the service. Rev. David Bridwell and Rev. Brad Goodale will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church, 232 Providence Church Rd, Pageland, SC 29728. Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs is in charge of arrangements.
