She was born Wednesday, February 24, 1965 in Charlotte, North Carolina to Edythe Windjack Brooks and the late Bobby E. Brooks. She is preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Jackson Cobb. Miss Cheryl L. Brooks is survived by her Mother, Edythe Brooks of Pageland, SC, Brother, Michael Brooks of Charlotte, NC, and Sisters, Lorelei Jackson Rivers of Oak Island, NC and Debbie Brooks of Charlotte, NC.
