Mody Alexander "Daddy" Clark, of Jefferson, SC was a retired Senior Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force, passed away peacefully, at the age of 91, in Monroe, NC, under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Union County. A devoted servant of God, Mody was a steadfast follower of Jesus Christ whose life was marked by faith, family, and community service.

Born and raised in South Carolina, Mody proudly served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant after a distinguished career. Following his service, he dedicated his life to his family and community, embodying the values of integrity, humility, and faithfulness.

Mody was preceded in death by his parents, David Ray and AnnieBell Clark; brothers, David R. "Jiggs" Clark, Ramsey Clark, William Clark and his beloved wife of 69 years, Barbara Jean "Mama" Clark who went to be with the Lord in November 2021. Their partnership was a testament to enduring love and shared faith.

He is survived by his three sons, Rev. Richard A. Clark (Jackie) of Jefferson, SC, Mark W. Clark (Lisa) of Wrightsville, GA, and Scott D. Clark (Linda) of Lexington, SC.

Mody's legacy extends further to include eleven cherished grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, all of whom were inspired by his example of unwavering love and dedication to family.

A fervent follower of Jesus Christ, Mody was an active servant in his church and community, always seeking to bring glory to God through his actions. He lived by the words of Matthew 25:21: "Well done, good and faithful servant…"

His impact on the lives of those who knew him will remain immeasurable, as his faith, wisdom, and love continue to inspire those he leaves behind.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Macedonia Baptist Church Family Life Center.

A celebration of Mody's life and faith will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Sanders and Pastor David Walker presiding. Interment with full military honors will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Macedonia Baptist Church Emergency Fund, 3944 Johnson Road, Jefferson, SC 29718, honoring Mody's dedication to faith and community service.

The Clark family expresses their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and prayers during this time. May we all strive to live the faith and devotion exemplified by Mody Alexander "Daddy" Clark.
