Mr. Bobbie Ray Baker, 76, of Pageland, South Carolina went to be with his Lord on Monday, October 6, 2014, at CMC-Union in Monroe, North Carolina. Mr. Baker was born Saturday, September 17, 1938 to the late Verbon and Marie Hillman Baker. He later united in marriage to Kay Baker. He was the owner and operator of K-Bobs Restaurant in Pageland, SC for 15 years. He was also a member of Pageland Rose Memorial Nazarene Church. Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Kay Baker, of the home; Sons, Steve Baker (Cora) and Andy Atkinson (Tammie) all of Pageland, SC; Daughters, Val Baker (Bob Burley) of Tyrone, OK, Ann Price (Rick) of Kempner, TX, April Joplin (Heath) of Lancaster, SC, Amy Helms (David) of Pageland, SC; Brothers, Larry Baker (Deanna) of Pampa, TX, Dwayne Baker (Bobbie Sue) of Elk City, OK, David Baker (Donna) of Wheeler, TX; Sister, Phillis O'Quinn (Rick) of Perryton, TX; 18 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. A Celebration of life Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Pageland Rose Memorial Nazarene Church with Pastor Scott Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland. The family will receive friends at Pageland Rose Memorial Nazarene Church on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
