Mr. Bobby Alex Carnes, 68, of Pageland, SC went to be with his Lord on Saturday, December 21, 2013. Mr. Carnes was born in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Alex and Nell Smith Carnes. He retired from Conbraco Industries, Inc after 38 years, as their Stock Room Clerk. After his retirement, Bobby enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church. Bobby is survived by his Loving Wife, Rowan Plyler Carnes of the home; son, Travis Alex Carnes of Elizabethton, TN and a daughter, Traci Leann Carnes of Pageland, SC; sister, Sylvia Hendrix (Bobby) of Pageland, SC; Grandchildren Makenzie Leann Carnes, Alexander Ryan Carnes both of Pageland, SC and Kiersten Elizabeth Carnes of Lancaster, SC, two nieces; Michelle Rivers and Susan Rorie of Pageland, SC. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 26, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Baumgartner Funeral Home. A Funeral Service celebrating his life will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Providence Baptist Church, with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
