Mr. Charles Lindy Richardson, 88 of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center in Matthews, North Carolina while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Richardson was born Friday, July 8, 1927 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina to the late John and Ella Phillips Richardson. He later met and united in marriage to Thayer Cato Richardson who proceeds him in death. Mr. Richardson retired BB&T Bank. He was in the US Navy and a Veteran of World War II. He is also preceded in death by his Brother, J.F. Richardson and Sister, Eloise Mangum. He is survived by his Sons, Steven Richardson of New York, NY and David Richardson of Atlanta, GA and Brother, Jack Richardson of Mullins, SC. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at First Baptist Church Cemetery. Interment will be in First Baptist Church Cemetery, Pageland, SC. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Baumgartner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to A Hospice of One's Choice.
