Clayton R. Caldwell Jr., 73, of Pageland, South Carolina went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, surrounded by his loving family and Hospice. Mr. Caldwell was born on June 4, 1942 in Pageland, South Carolina to the late Clayton R. Caldwell Sr. and Hilda Medlin Douglas. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Pageland and worked as a Telephone Repairman for Sandhill Telephone Company for 30 years. He enjoyed Nascar Racing, Country Music, and was a die-hard Clemson Tiger Fan. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Peggy S. Caldwell of Pageland, South Carolina, Daughters, Robin C. Terry (Butch) of Pageland, South Carolina and Kim C. Oliver (Tony) of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, Sister, Elaine C. Duncan (Richard) of Union, South Carolina and Grandchildren, Dustin Terry and Paige Terry both of Pageland, South Carolina and Colt Oliver and Callie Oliver both of Sallisaw, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 15, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Pageland with Dr. Joel Dale officiating. The burial will follow at First Baptist Church of Pageland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30PM - 3:00 PM on Friday, April 15, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Pageland Fellowship Hall.
