Mr. Donald "Don" Humphries, 67, of Pageland, SC went to be with his Lord on Friday, August 15, 2014 while surrounded by his loving family and Hospice. Mr. Donald Perry Humphries was born on October 26, 1946 in Lancaster, South Carolina to the late Perry and Bulah Threatt Humphries. Don retired from Springs Industries and was self employed for the last 20 years. He was also a member of Galilee Baptist Church for the last 2 years. He is predeceased by his Brother, James Edward Humphries. He is survived by his Brothers, Robert Humphries (Claire) of Aiken, SC, Johnny Humphries of Lancaster, SC and Carl Humphries of Lancaster, SC; Sisters, Darlene Phillips (Greg) of Lancaster, SC, Mary Robertson (Buck) of Heath Springs, SC, Betty Weaver (Dale) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Peggy Williams of Charlotte, NC and Jackie Boyd (Jimmy) of Lancaster, SC and Numerous Nieces and Nephews. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 18, 2014 at Galilee Baptist Church. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Baumgartner Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Galilee Baptist Church, 5619 Pageland HWY, Monroe, NC 28112.
