Mr. Earl Hunt, 73, of Cheraw, SC passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, October 31, 2019 in Cheraw, SC. Mr. Earl Hunt was born on October 24, 1946 in Lumberton, North Carolina to the late Walter Hunt and Mary Cassie Revels. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Edward, James Frank, Woodrow, John Willie, Eartle, and his sisters, Sally, Margaret, Joyce, and Elaine. After 26 years of service, Mr. Hunt retired from the US Navy. He loved the outdoors, was an all-around sports fan, and loved spending time with his children. He was in the hospitality industry for over 16 years and won the 2005 South Carolina Hospitality Award. Mr. Hunt is survived by his sons, Brandon L. Hunt (Meaghan) of Shannon, NC and Jonathon Adam Hunt (Amanda) of Pineville, NC; daughter, Samantha Victoria Hunt of Columbia, SC; brother of the heart, Cam Epps of Lumberton, NC; sister, Mary Miller of Raeford, NC; special friend, Debbie Brock and daughter, Bella of Chesterfield, SC; caretaker, Regina Smith of Cheraw, SC; granddaughter, Zayda Chavis, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the home of Regina Smith, 5416 Red Springs Road, Red Springs, NC 28377 any time after 4:00 PM.
