Mr. Robert "Frank" Franklin Hendrix, 83, of Concord, NC passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015 in Matthews, NC. Frank was born on July 20, 1931 in Jefferson, South Carolina to the late Jesse Franklin and Carrie Ethel Seegars Hendrix. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1949 and enlisted in the US Air Force. He was married to Elma Rae Miller for 57 years until her death in 2007. Frank worked for over 30 years for Spartan Equipment Company. He was a loving and devoted family man, and blessed us with many special memories, like camping at the beach, skiing at the lake and frogmore stew. His generosity and care touched many lives and he will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his Wife Elma Rae Hendrix, Seven Brothers, Seven Sisters, One Grandson, Malachi Keck and One Great Grandson, Cullen Gray Talton. Mr. Hendrix is survived by his Son, Robert Hendrix Jr. (Angie) of Wake Forest, NC, Daughters, Deborah Martin (Terry) of Concord, NC and Donna Keck (Michael) of Concord, NC, Grandchildren, Jane Talton (Beau) of Harrisburg, NC, Carrie Rufty (Michael) of Concord, NC, Jesse Martin (Jessica) of Concord, NC, Samantha Keck of Concord, NC, Addyanna Keck of Concord, NC and Great Grandchildren, Anna and Emery Talton, Gavin and Mason Rufty, Amelia and Conrad Martin, and Jean Waters, who shared a loving and committed relationship with Frank, her children, Terri Etter (Leslie Folksman), Donna Ratcliffe and Granddaughter Samantha Etter. He will be missed by many Nieces and Nephews and close friends. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Baumgartner Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Carl Ritter officiating. The burial will follow in Jefferson Town Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Baumgartner Funeral Home, 708 W.
