Mr. Irvin James Wortham, 77, of Lancaster, SC passed away on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC. Mr. Irvin James Wortham was born in Los Angeles County, California to the late Alfred and Evelyn Work Wortham. He later united in marriage to Minerva Nuzum. Mr. Wortham entered into the US Army back in 1956. Mr. Wortham is survived by His Wife, Minerva Wortham of the home, Sons, Joseph Steed of Pageland, SC, Billy Joe Steed of Wingate, NC Perry Wortham of Paradise, CA and Glenn Wortham of Paradise, CA, Daughters, Kimberly Wilson of Pageland, SC and Sheila Hosier of Jacksonville, NC, Fourteen Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren. The family will have a Private Burial at Florence National Cemetery.
