Mr. J. Mike Jenkins, 57, of Marshville, NC went to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 10, 2014 surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Hospice. Mr. J. Mike Jenkins was born in Mecklenburg County, NC to the late John Henry and Hallie Stegall Jenkins. Mike and his wife, Sheree of 33 years resided in their home of Marshville, NC. He was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church. Mr. Jenkins was also an avid fisherman, self taught musician and race fan. He loved the Tarheels and Carolina Panthers. Mr. Jenkins is survived by his Wife, Sheree Rollins Jenkins of the home, Son, Matthew Brian Jenkins (Barbara) of Pageland, SC, Daughters, Lauren Jenkins Davis (Chris) of Marshville, NC and Whitney Jenkins Beard (Kyle) of Marshville, NC, Sister, Carol J. Courtney (Chris) of Marshville, NC and Grandchildren, Alyssa Faith Jenkins of Pageland, SC, Jackson Henry Davis of Marshville, NC and Baby Beard expected in October 2014. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Philadelphia Baptist Church. The interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The Jenkins family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, May 12, 2014 at Philadelphia Baptist Church.
