Pageland, SC James Alvin Brock, 67, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in Kingman, AZ. He is the son of the late Frank Brock and the late Sallie Pierce Brock of Pageland, SC. Graveside Services and Military Honors will be held at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pageland, SC on August 3, 2013 at 1:00 PM. The Family and Friends will gather at Baumgartner Funeral Home from 12:00 - 1:00 PM. James served his country during the Vietnam Campaign from 1963 - 1967 in the U.S. Navy and remained in the Navy Reserves until 1974. He was decorated with the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal with Bronze Star, the Navy Unit Commendation Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. He also served in the U.S. Marines for a short period and was honorably discharged. Surviving family includes his Brothers Donald Wayne Brock of Lancaster, SC and Billy Ray Brock of McConnells, SC and Sister, Martha Brock Bishop of Summerville, SC.
