Mr James Helms, 65, of Pageland, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at his home. Mr. James Helms was born in Lancaster County, South Carolina to the late Ned and Eula Watts Helms. He later united in marriage to Sue Helms. Mr. Helms worked in the construction business as a Carpenter. Mr. Helms is survived by his Wife, Sue Helms of Pageland, SC, Step-Son, Scott Watts of Pageland, SC, Step-Daughter, Karen Dorton of Monroe, NC, Four Step-Grandchildren and Eight Step- Great Grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 6, 2013 at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lois Kee's House, 140 Crowburk Road, Pageland, SC 29728. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Union Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, C/O Brenda Sullivan, 268 Cato Heights Lane, Pageland, SC 29728.
