Mr. John Joseph Carroll Sr., 86, of Pageland, SC, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 in Charlotte, NC. Mr. John Joseph Carroll Sr. was born in Bronx, New York to the late James and Alice McHenry Carroll. Mr. Carroll served in the US Navy and fought during WWII. He was a Superintendent for the New York City Housing Authority. Mr. Carroll was predeceased by his son, Brett Carroll. Mr. John Joseph Carroll Sr. is survived by his wife, Joyce Carroll of Pageland, SC, sons, John J. Carroll Jr. of Pageland, SC, Kurt J. Carroll of Pageland, SC, Kevin J. Carroll of Pageland, SC, Todd C. Carroll of Raleigh, NC and John Diem of NY, daughters, Lois Ross of Burlington, NC, Tara Rawlins of Montgomery, NY, and Serana Senatore of Pageland, SC, Twenty Four Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Baumgartner Funeral Home Chapel.
