Mr. John F. Deason, 75, of Pageland, SC passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 under the loving care of his family and Hospice of Chesterfield County. Mr. John F. Deason was born in Chesterfield County, South Carolina to the late Harvey Reece and Ethel Horne Deason. He later united in marriage to Clara L. Jordan. He was a general contractor. Mr. Deason is preceded in death by his Brothers, Hank and Wayne Deason, Sisters, Geneva Smith, Katie Langley and Frances Edwards. John is survived by his Wife, Clara Louise Deason of Pageland, SC, Son, Donald Deason of Pageland, SC, Daughter, Gail Alexson (Daniel) of Mt. Croghan, SC, Brothers, Charles Deason of Pageland, SC, Ronnie Deason of Mt. Croghan, SC, Earl Deason of Pageland, SC, Harvey Deason of Jefferson, SC and Eugene Deason of Pageland, SC, Sister, Margie Noe of Lancaster, SC, Grandchildren, Alissa Brumett (Cory) of Jefferson, SC and Katie Alexson of Mt. Croghan, SC. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Lighthouse Baptist Church. The burial will follow at Cross Roads Baptist Church in Ruby, South Carolina. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Baumgartner Funeral Home.
