Mr. Lyndon Melvin Mills Sr., 71, of Pageland, SC went to be with his Lord on Sunday, December 21, 2014 while under the loving care of his family and Hospice. Mr. Lyndon was born on January 12, 1943 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late Archie Melvin and Norma Lynn Griffin Mills. He later met his sweetheart Carolyn Cato and they united in marriage. He graduated from Pageland High School in 1961. He also was the proud owner of Mills Construction Company since 1994. He is preceded in death by his Wife, Carolyn Cato and Brother, Archie Marlin Mills as well as his parents, Archie Melvin and Norma Lynn Griffin Mills. Mr. Mills is survived by his Son, Lyn Mills Jr. (Lisa) of Charlotte, NC, Daughters, Julie Christman (Bob) of Rock Hill, SC and Amy McClam (Tim) of Florence, SC, Brother, Brian Mills (Martha) of Pageland, SC, Sisters, Gayle Mills of Pageland, SC, Layne Madaris (Tim) of Pageland, SC and Robin Helm (Larry) of Lancaster, SC and Five Grandchildren, Abigail Mills of Charlotte, NC, Carter Mills of Charlotte, NC, Clarkson Christman of Rock Hill, SC, Jamison McClam of Camden, SC and Carolyn McClam of Florence, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The entombment will follow in the Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 11:00 - 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Baumgartner Funeral Home in the Chapel.
