Mr. Paul Edward Walters, 66, of Pageland, South Carolina went to be with his Lord on Friday, May 19, 2017 while in Pineville, NC surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Paul Edward Walters was born on December 11, 1950 in Darlington County, SC to the late Leavie James Walters and Willene Blackwell Walters. He later met and united in marriage to Glenda Walters. He loved to work in his greenhouse. Paul was an avid fisherman, hunter and Carolina Panthers Fan. He mostly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where he was a past deacon. He was the President of the A & W Hunting Club in the Angelus area. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas W. Walters and Roger Walters. Those left to celebrate and remember his life include his loving wife, Glenda Walters, sons, Chad Walters of Pageland, SC, Robbie Gainey of Hartsville, and Howard Gainey of Darlington, SC, Daughter, Angela Gainey of Pageland, SC, brothers, Willard Walters of Forest City, NC and Melvin Walters of Bennettsville, SC, sisters, Alice Catoe of Hartsville, SC, Patricia Carter of Hartsville, SC and Phyllis Johnson of Hartsville, SC, Grandchildren, Gavin Walters, Noah Blalock, Skylar Walters, Gabriel Walters, Brandon Gainey, Chelsea Gainey, Brittany Gainey, Lisa Gainey, Jennifer Gainey, Star Gainey, Makayla Gainey, Kyle Consiglio, Aiden Gainey, Heather Elliott, Christy Elliott and Dylan Elliott and numerous great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Pastor Ronnie Collins and Dr. Joel Dale officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Baumgartner Funeral Home of Pageland, 708 West McGregor Street, Pageland, South Carolina 29728.
