Mr. Robert Armond Baker, 84, of Pageland, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at CM Tucker Center in Columbia, South Carolina. Mr. Robert A. Baker was born Wednesday, August 21, 1929 in Monroe, North Carolina. He was the husband of Bobbie McCray Baker. He was a member of Wolf Pond Baptist. Mr. Baker worked in the textile industry. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Baker is survived by his Wife, Bobbie McCray Baker of the home, Son, John Mark Baker (Michelle) of Pageland, SC, Brothers, Archie Baker of Pageland, SC, B.F. Baker (Ida Mae) of Pageland, SC and Joe Baker of Monroe, NC and Grandchildren, Myranda Baker of Pageland, SC, Desseree Melton of Aiken, SC and Shelby Sturdevant of Clover, SC. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be at 3:00 PM on Friday at Wolf Pond Baptist. Interment will be in Wolf Pond Baptist Church Cemetery, Pageland, SC. The Baker family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:30 PM on May 23, 2014 at Wolf Pond Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall.
