Mr. Robert "Bill" William Rogers, 71, of Pageland, SC passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015 under the loving care of his family and Hospice. Mr. Rogers was born on December 16, 1943 in Pageland, SC to the late Marshall and June Plyler Rogers. He later met Valarie Faulkenbury and they united in marriage. Mr. Rogers worked for Pelton Crane in Charlotte, NC for 16 years as a Machinist. He loved drag racing and rabbit hunting. He is preceded in death by his Brother, Dennis "Spanky" Wayne Rogers. He is survived by his Wife, Valarie Rogers of the home, Son, Brian Rogers, Daughter, Wanda Crocker of Monroe, NC, Brother, Dillion Rogers (Sherry) of Monroe, NC, Grandchildren, Faith Crocker and Michael Crocker, III both of Pageland, SC and Son-in-law, Michael Crocker, II of Pageland, SC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February, 18, 2015 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Pastor Pete Gregory, Pastor Jeremiah Henderson and Tony Funderburk Officiating. The burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM on Wednesday, February, 18, 2015 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 7723 Pageland Highway, Monroe, NC 28112, Smyrna Baptist Church, 841 Smyrna Church Road, Pageland, SC 29728 or Hospice of One's Choice.
