Mr. Samuel James Snipes Jr., 61, of Lakeland, FL formerly of Pageland, SC passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, FL. Mr. Samuel James Snipes Jr. was born in Chesterfield County, SC to Samuel James Snipe Sr. and the late Mamie Sikes Snipes. Mr. Snipes was a Dragline Operator in the Phosphate Mining Business. He served in the US Air Force. Mr. Snipes is survived by his Father, Samuel Snipes Sr. of Pageland, SC, Son, Benjamin K. Snipes (Heather) of Lakeland, FL, Daughters, Jessica L. Snipes of Lakeland, FL and Lindsay R. Snipes of Monrovia, CA and Ten Grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Pageland Cemetery.
