Mrs. Evelyn Almettia Moree, 73, of Pageland, South Carolina went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mrs. Moree was born Friday, December 27, 1940 in Pageland, SC to the late Jarvis and Fronnie Nicholson Knight. She later met and united in marriage to Hubert Moree. She worked for Springs Industries and was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church. She is predeceased by her Brothers, Ward Knight, James Knight and Noah Odell Knight, Step-Son, Christopher Dale Moree and Sister, Frances Arnita Horne Lindsey. Mrs. Moree is survived by her husband, Hubert Moree of the home; Daughter, Pam Moree (Andre) of Pageland, SC; Brother, Jarvis Knight Jr. (Lucille) of Rockwell, NC; Sisters, Elizabeth Jackson of Salisbury, NC and Pearlie Beckham of Heath Springs, SC and Grandchildren, Ashford Wadsworth and Felicia Wadsworth (Kyle) both of Pageland, SC. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Union Hill Baptist Church. The interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Pageland, SC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Baumgartner Funeral Home.
