Mrs. Gladys S. Mangum, 90, of Pageland, South Carolina passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2014 under the loving care of her family and Hospice. Mrs. Gladys S. Mangum was born on November 19, 1923 in Jefferson, South Carolina to the late David L. and Susie Demby Sullivan. Mrs. Mangum was later united in marriage to Lenson Mangum, who preceeds her in death. She was a Homemaker and was of the Methodist Faith. She is survived by her five Sons, Jerry Mangum (Sandra) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jimmy Mangum (Nancy) of Pageland, South Carolina, Joey Mangum (Joyce) of Pageland, South Carolina, Jack Mangum of Pageland, South Carolina and Red Mangum (Sandra) of Pageland, South Carolina; one Daughter, Janet Mangum of Pageland, South Carolina ; one Sister, Frances Sullivan Reeves of Kershaw, South Carolina; Seven Grandchildren, Jamie Mangum Griffin (Nick) of Peachland, North Carolina, Kelly Mangum Kirby (Jerry) of Jefferson, South Carolina, Greg Mangum and Jason Mangum both of Charlotte, North Carolina, Holly Mangum Troxell (Tim) of Conway, South Carolina, J.R. Mangum and Jessie Mangum both of Pageland, South Carolina and four Great Grandchildren, Ty Parker and Logan Parker both of Pageland, South Carolina, Lilly Elizabeth Kirby of Jefferson, South Carolina and Camryn Troxell of Conway, South Carolina. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Zion United Methodist Church. The family will visit with friends at Janet Mangum's Home, 205 East Godfrey Street in Pageland or after the Memorial Service in Zion Hall. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Agape Hospice, 404 West Meeting Street, Lancaster, South Carolina 29720.
