Mrs. Janice Jenkins Maples, 66 of Pageland, South Carolina passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016, while surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice. Mrs. Janice Jenkins Maples was born on Monday, November 21, 1949 in Lancaster, South Carolina to the late Lewis James Jenkins and Letha Jenkins. She later met and united in marriage to Jerry Maples, who precedes her in death. She is also preceded in death by her Brother, Warren Jenkins. She is survived by her Son, Jerry Maples II (Rhonda) of Pageland, SC, Daughter, Dawn Gleaton (Jeffery) of Lancaster, SC, Brothers, Tommy Jenkins (Patricia) of Marshville, NC, Steve Jenkins of High Point, NC, Timmy Jenkins (Cindy) of Wadesboro, NC and Rodney Jenkins of Albelmarle, NC, sisters, Frances Plattenburger of Waxhaw, NC, Rebecca Stafford of Monroe, NC and Terry Demopoulos (Tommy) of Waxhaw, NC, and Five Grandchildren, Mallorie Gleaton, Tyler Gleaton, Justin Gleaton, Devin Gleaton and Meagan Parker all of Lancaster, SC. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at New Testament Baptist Church located at 5359 Mt. Pisgah Road, Kershaw, South Carolina 29067 with the Pastor James Aldridge and Pastor Steven Aldridge officiating. The burial will be in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Pageland, SC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, February 8, 2016, at Baumgartner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Chesterfield County, P.O. BOX 293, Chesterfield, SC 29709.
