Mrs. Mary Ann H. Funderburk, 83, of Pageland, South Carolina went to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 20, 2014, while surrounded by her loving family and under the loving care of Hospice of Chesterfield County. She was born Wednesday, January 14, 1931 in Pageland, South Carolina to the late Walter Lee Hicks and Annie Pigg Hicks. She later met Austin and they united in marriage. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church and was a Choir Director for about 40 years. Mrs. Funderburk is preceded in death by her Brothers, Bruce Hicks, Carroll Hicks and Louie Hicks and her Sister, Mildred H. Kelly. She is survived by her Husband, Austin Funderburk of the home, Son, Gregory Funderburk (Lisa) of Pageland, SC, Daughter, Karen Jan Funderburk Brauer (Gary) of Matthews, NC, Sisters, Davies Jordan of Pageland, SC, Barbara Lowery of Monroe, NC and Hilda Outen of Charlotte, NC; Four Grandchildren, Ashley, Wesley, Ben and Steven. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church. The burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Pageland, SC. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00PM on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall.
