Mrs. Mary Ann Teal, 81, of Pageland, South Carolina passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Autumn Care in Marshville, North Carolina. Mrs. Mary Ann Teal was born in Pageland, South Carolina to the late Daisy Anderson Redfearn and Harry Baxter Redfearn. She was later united in marriage to Jerry E. Teal, who precedes her in death. She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Pageland and sang in the choir. Mrs. Teal organized the Red Cross volunteers for the Pageland area, was a former Girl Scout Leader and taught Homebound Children. She was an influential part in establishing the first library for Pageland, SC. She was a proud Graduate of Converse College. Mary is preceded in death by her Brother, Edward Redfearn. Mrs. Teal is survived by her Son, Harry Teal (Sherry) of Gastonia, NC, Daughter, Lou Anne Clark (Mark) of Concord, NC, Grandchildren, Chip Clark (Courtney) of Concord, NC, Stuart Teal (Denise) of Charlotte, NC, Blair Teal of Charlotte, NC, Mollie Clark of Concord, NC and Great Grandson, Mac Clark of Concord, NC. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Pageland. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 in the First Baptist Church of Pageland Fellowship Hall.
