Ms. Clara Mae Magee, 87, of Jefferson, SC, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Carolinas Healthcare System-Union in Monroe, NC while surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Clara Mae Magee was born on December 19, 1927 in Bolivar New York to the late Fred Ward and Mary Josephine Sawyer VanCuren. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Floyd C. Coats and Paul James Magee, Granddaughter, Mary Josephine Otter and Twelve Siblings. Ms. Clara loved old country music, yellow roses and crossword puzzles. She was of the Protestant faith. Ms. Clara Mae Magee is survived by her Son, James Samuel Coats (Barbara) of Questa, New Mexico, Daughters, Shirley Skinner (Gerald) of Jefferson, SC, Helen Orvis of Wellsville, NY and Katherine Ann Bowman of Mountainhome, AK and Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren. The family will hold a Private Memorial Service at a later date.
