Ms. Edith Brock Sherrin, 79, of Pageland, South Carolina passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016, at Lancaster Convalescence Center in Lancaster, South Carolina while surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Edith Brock Sherrin was born Thursday, December 3, 1936 to the late Mae Brock and Julia Moree Brock. She later met and united in marriage to Fred who precedes her in death. She also preceded in death by her Brothers, Lonnie Mae Brock, Harold Brock and Carson Brock. She was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. Ms. Edith worked for Chesterfield Yarn Mill for many years until she decided to retire and enjoy spending time with her family. She is survived by her Son, Freddie Lynn Sherrin (Lynn) of Pageland, SC, Grandson, Ricky Sherrin (Tennille) of Pageland,SC and Great Grandchildren, Levi Sherrin and Riley Sherrin both of Pageland, SC. A Celebration of Life Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday January 4, 2016 at Galilee Baptist Church with the Pastor Andy Wells officiating. The burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, January 4, 2016, at Galilee Baptist Church, Monroe, North Carolina In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to a Charity Of One's Choice.
