Ms. Peggy A. Poole, 76, of Pageland, SC, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2015, while surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Hospice. Ms. Peggy Ann Poole was born on April 7, 1939 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina to the late Hurley H. and Kathleen Phillips Killough. She later met and united in marriage to Worth Poole who precedes her in death. She is also preceded in death by her Son, Ira Mills, Brother, Jimmy Killough and her Sister, Lynda Pressley. Ms. Poole was a member of Canaan Baptist Church in Monroe, North Carolina. She loved to spend time with her family. She is survived by her Sons, Robby Mills (Debra) of Union, SC, Timmy Mills (Beth) of Gaffney, SC and Tommy Mills (Sherry) of Pageland, SC, Daughter, Cindy Cato (Pastor Bobby) of Pageland, SC, Brothers, Joe Killough (Janet) of Concord, NC, Ed Killough (Penny) of Concord, NC and Larry Killough (Mary) of Monroe, NC, Sisters, Geneva Gresham of Eureka, IL, Judy Dickerson (Don) of Pageland, SC, Vonnie Dennis of Jefferson, SC and Mary Nelson (Nick) of Lancaster, SC, Ten Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Canaan Baptist Church with Pastor Bobby Cato, Pastor Barry Goodman and Rev. Robby Mills officiating. The burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park of Pageland. The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Canaan Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Canaan Baptist Church, 2021 Claude Austin Road, Monroe, NC 28112.
