Ms. Violet Maxine Evans, 78 of Pageland, South Carolina passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015, at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, South Carolina. Ms. Evans was born on Tuesday, September 15, 1936 in Monroe, North Carolina to the late Palmer Lloyd "Bud" and Atha Lee Plyler. She is preceded in death by her Brother, Bill Plyler and Sister, Louise Mullis. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her Sons, Curtis Lane Evans(Doris) of Pageland, SC and Loren Evans (Tammy) of Marshville, NC, Sisters, Margie Ray Davis of Monroe, NC and Joyce Bass of Monroe, NC, Grandchildren, Phillip Evans, Tiffany Shurley, Kyle Evans and Brandon Griffin, Great Grandson, Trenton Evans and Great Granddaughters, Kaicee Shurley and Karina Beltran. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 18, 2015 at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Pastor James Lewis Officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Pageland, SC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, May 17, 2015, at Baumgartner Funeral Home.
