Ms. Virginia L. Ragsdale Smith, age 80, of Pageland, SC, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015, while under the loving care of Hospice of Union County. Ms. Virginia L. Ragsdale Smith was born on February 4, 1935 in Lancaster County, South Carolina to the late T.B. Plyler and Willie McManus Plyler. She later met and united in marriage to Archie Ragsdale who precedes her in death. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her Parents, Brother, Don Lewis, Sister, Mary Lou Austin and Nephew, Tommy Plyler. Ms. Virginia L. Smith is survived by her Brother, W.T. Plyler (Jo) of West Palm Beach, FL, Nieces, Ann Parker of Mineral Springs, NC, LeNeal Love (Steve) of Mineral Springs, NC and Rhonda Plyler of West Palm Beach, FL and Many Great and Great Great Nieces and Nephews. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Baumgartner Funeral Home Chapel. A Private Family entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Baumgartner Funeral Home.
