Nanaleen "Sandy" Hagler Baucom, 56, of Monroe, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Hospice of Union County surrounded by her loving family. Sandy was born on June 16, 1962 in Charlotte, North Carolina to Hugh and Janice "Jan" Ivy Hagler. Sandy retired from Waffle House after 35 years of faithful service with the company. She loved life and lived every day to the fullest. Sandy loved being around people in the community and she never met a stranger. You could always find her laughing and enjoying herself. She was known for being the life of the party wherever she went. In her free time, Sandy attended First Baptist church of Pageland, as well as, playing bingo with her mom which was her favorite pastime. Those left to celebrate and remember her life include her loving parents Hugh and Janice "Jan" Ivy Hagler of Pageland, South Carolina; brothers, James Allen Hagler of Pageland, South Carolina and Michael Scott Hagler (Carrie) of Monroe, North Carolina; sisters, Lafonda Hagler of Monroe, North Carolina and Lenna Lynn Collins (Mark) of Charleston, South Carolina; niece, Alyssa Hagler of Monroe, North Carolina; nephews, Dylan Hagler and Thomas Jones of Monroe, North Carolina and Alexander David Earle of Charlotte, North Carolina; great-nephew, Ja-Cari Lowery of Pageland, South Carolina; great-niece, Trinity Rain Jones of Monroe, North Carolina; also number Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 10, 2019 from the Chapel of Baumgartner Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Austin and Dr. Joel Dale officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery of First Baptist Church of Pageland. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:45 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Baumgartner Funeral Home, 708 West McGregor Street, Pageland, South Carolina 29728.
